Hello everyone! welcome to my new motivation blog, nowadays bad habits are a cruse for our society.It’s really hard to rid the bad habits but you can do this by following the below steps which I am going to tell you in this post.So without wasting any time lets go-
Before starting the main topic we have to clarify what is a habit?
What Is Habit?
Basically, habit is a particular task which we repeat every day.So our brain makes a blueprint of the task and saves it to our brain.So if we do the task again brain doesn’t think anything just follow the saved blueprint.Any task which gives a huge pleasure to the brain, it will be a habit for sure & all the drugs do the same thing.
How To Get Rid Of Bad Habits?
Basically, Bad habits are little bit hard to remove from your brain because brain save the blueprint in very deep area, So we have to find the three question’s answer –
1) What Is The Trigger/Cue Of The Bad Habit?
This is the most important part of riding bad habit, You have to find out –
It can be a location, Time, Emotion, Others(any person)
2)What Is The Routine Of The Bad Habit?
Every bad habit must be a routine so you have to find out what is the routine of your bad habit
After finding all the question’s answer now you have to follow the steps –
Step 1:- After finding out the trigger, you have to ignore the things, hmm tried? Can’t ignore? here is also a trick, You have to exchange the bad habit with a good habit.I know you are a little bit confused don’t worry, Author told that you have to exchange the bad habits with good habits.So think how can you change your bad habits.
Step 2:- After finding the routine you have to do something good, in the routine.Just make strong your willpower and do something odd, From next day you can change the habit 🙂
Step 3:- Make some goals and reward.Choose some small goals and reward you for completing your task.The example usually you smoke 5 cigarettes in a day, Just set that you have to smoke only 3 cigarettes in a day and reward a chocolate or something else for you.
